Dunedin is a lovely city, really nice vibe to it. For a city it is not very busy at all, you can drive a car down the main street and pull up outside a shop.
Dunedin is also a student city, and this much is very obvious. Lots of ‘young folk’ trying a bit to hard to be different. Hipster coffee everywhere, but a lot of small trendy cinemas and bars around town.
Luckily our hotel was in the nerd district, so I felt quite at home
We found the most retro of resto music shops. This one actually sold cassette. Now, I almost get the purity of vinyl thing (not for me though). But surely the purity of a C60 tape cannot be a thing (Nieces and Nephews reading may not know what that is).
Otago Settlers museum
This was a great museum which tracked the settlement in the area right up until the present day. By far the most interesting stuff was modern history, which applies to us all, but the put a great regional twist on it. Top, Top museum.
For those of you who have ever doubted me – yes this was a real thing!

Defiantly have no clue what a C60 tape is 😂😂😂
