The Road to Dunedin

Thanks to Rob and Sue for their hospitality, we spent the morning there, I even did a few chores, then off south. Had a light breakfast so we’re (I’m)  on the quest for a pie and shake.

Found a nice bakery on the way and pie and cake it was. Travel in new Zealand is always great, long winding roads and not much traffic. Once you’re out of the cities, every scene is lovely.

Oamaru

We stopped at Oamaru on the way down. What a beautiful little town with a great vibe to it. Nice beach and small harbour.

We arrived at Wains hotel Dunedin. It’s on Princes street, a major street in the city centre, although it was really, really quiet.

Quick shower, then a walk down to the Octagon for dinner.

And this is where the problems start!
