We get to Byron Bay only to find a party going on with live bands playing rock music. And there’s aging (and not so aging) hippies all over the place.
The beach hotel (we didn’t stay there) is a huge venue, especially for this size of town. When we got there, there were live bands on. By the time we had checked in and had something to eat, live music was over and it had turned into somewhat of a rave!
On the way from the beach to our accommodation – rail crossing was a bit, er, lacking in notification technology.
