South Bank Brisbane is really festive.
It houses the ‘cultural quarter’, so museums, performing arts colleges, cinemas etc. Not far from the apartment there are lots of quirky cafes and restaurants and it all goes a bit hipster.

Brisbane is on the river rather than having a central beach, but the town Council built one. Streets beach is free for all and just off the river on the South Bank. it even has it’s own beach cinema.
