Durians
A note on Durians. We’ve not been to Asia before, so this is new to us. Durians – the king of fruit. “… its odor is best described as pig-shit, turpentine and onions, garnished with a gym sock.”

Singapore Skyline – The Pinnacle at Duxton
This building is amazing and was very close to our hotel. I always found myself staring at it as we returned to our hotel.

Singapore Skyline – Park Royal Hotel
This kind of building feature is found throughout Singapore, it’s a stated aim of the authorities to develop the city as a “City within a Garden”

Singapore Skyline – Marina Bay Hotel
Truly amazing and completely bonkers. Wherever you are in the City, if you see this building it immediately draws the eye and you stare in amazement.
