Kuala Lumpur, universally known as KL. Capital of Malaysia. We pushed the boat our a bit here for a posh hotel, arrived after an early flight from Singapore.
Can’t say I know a lot about Malaysia, but be good to learn. The airport is a bit ‘London Stansted’ as it is 50 km from KL and actually in a different state. Luckily Taxis are cheap. Arriving at the hotel we discover it is roughly 100 yards from KL central station so we could have taken the train. Not sure it was worth saving the money though. Aloft is an Awesome 5* hotel in KL, unfortunately due to its location I was unable to take a photo of the Outside.
After getting here in the afternoon, we spent pretty much day 1 in the hotel taking in a beer or two.
