A bit of Hanoi Culture

Taking in a bit of culture in Hanoi as we visit the National Museum and a traditional water puppet show.

National Museum

We had been to national museums in both Singapore and KL and both of them were fantastic. The one in Vietnam is trying to achieve the same thing, but doesn’t quite get there as it becomes confusing and disjointed.

The vastly more interesting was the modern history covering the development of the Civil War and afterwards, but it was mostly an exhibition of Photographs and letters.

Water Puppet Theatre

We visited a traditional Vietnamese water puppet theatre show. Interesting, but not sure the singing was for our ears.

An unknown event?

No real idea what is going on here, while wandering around Hanoi we accidently found ourselves backstage at some kind of event. Looked like they were  soundchecking some kind of boyband thing?
