A city break in Bangkok before home. After a super chill out in Krabi there was a little reluctance returning to the madness of a major city. As it turns out our time in Vietnam has acclimatised us well. Unexpectedly Bangkok is a pussycat compared to both Hanoi and Saigon.
After a short flight from Krabi we land in Bangkok, met at the airport and straight on to our hotel.
Furama Hotel
Hotel is a modern right in the centre of Bangkok, with a pool, gym and, luckily for us no rooms available – so they upgraded us to a suite of rooms on the 12th floor. Nice touch. This could make up for the fact one of the lifts is highly suspect and we have almost got trapped in it once already.
