Even though we landed late in Da Nang, we are collected 8am from our Hoi An hotel and straight into town for our Vietnamese Cookery Course.
We are delivered into the hands of the Red Bridge Cookery school, we assemble at their Hoi An old town restaurant, then take a tour of the Hoi An market accompanied by their chef, followed by a trip out to their cookery school by boat.
The Vietnamese chef who took us around the markets and took the cooking lessons was hilarious, with a great, subtle sense of humour.
At the end of the cooking session there was lunch – make your own – so if it’s rubbish you only have yourself to blame.
