Saigon Presidential Palace

This is actually a remarkable building. There cannot be many building like this around the world – of historical interest, size and built with a modern sixties feel.

The pictures don’t really do it justice. It was build mid sixties and is a testament to everything ‘modern sixties’ minimalist design. Think 2001 a space odyssey and all things futuristic from a sixties / seventies point of view.

South Vietnam Presidential Palace – a very famous gate.
