Tahiti is a really beautiful place.
You are basically staying on a strip of land around the edge of the island, pretty much everywhere you are overlooks the pacific. At all times though the tropical centre of the island looks on like a benevolent monster looking on at all times.

It’s not really a beach kind of place. If you want beaches hop from Tahiti to Bora Bora, Moorea or one of the other islands. Snorkeling there however is outstanding clear blue waters tht get really deep in a few metres. There are however beaches around the island, you just need to hunt them out.

We mustn’t forget, Tahiti is tropical, green and lush. It rains, with showers on a regular basis but they are warm and short lived. Lots of water around the island.

For those professional surfers around you, this location is apparently renowned as one of the most difficult and dangerous breaks around. For those of you not professional surfers please feel free to say ‘whatever’
