Left Dunedin kind of early afternoon, with a 4 hour journey to our next port of call Lake Manapouri. I thought we were staying at Te Anau but on further inspection, clearly not.
Quite a pleasant trip cutting through central Otago which is farming country. And it really is farming country, gently rolling hills, farms, fields, more farms and more fields. Stopped at a couple of small towns here and there. Note too much to tell.
I could have picked up an ancient tractor if Joan hadn’t pack so many bloody toiletries.
And, while I do not customarily take pictures of the insides of public toilets, I have no idea what is going on here. This was in the public toilets of a small town between Dunedin and Manapouri which literally had 1 shop and will remain nameless.
They had a budget for urinals and by god they were going to use it!
