Probably the longest travelling we have done yet to get to Tahiti from Oahu.
The problem with getting one of these around the world tickets is you are limited to a handful of airlines. We left the hotel in Oahu at 5:30am and got on a 5 hour flight to L.A. We then had a 7 hour wait in L.A. and caught an 8 hour flight to Tahiti which got us in at around 5:30am. We gained to hours on the way to L.A. and lost them again when we flew back out to Tahiti. Checked in to our accomodation at 8:00am – long old day that. Managed to binge watch Stranger Things 2 on the flights.
The problem is, you kind of lose the plot as to what meals to have. As we finally got to our Pension, I opt for the less chosen combo of a beer and croissant.
